It has felt like a time for recharging in preparation for what is to come in the year ahead.
I took an extra week to go away on holidays and was slowed down even more.
Instead of being the busy tourist I normally am the weather prompted me to slow down further and spend time indoors at our beach getaway, instead of exploring. This was when I realised how tired I actually was.
When the weather was good I spent time in the ocean cleansing, restoring, and letting go of the exhaustion and stresses from 2021.
Sometimes we don't realise how exhausted we are until we stop!
After returning from holidays I felt relaxed and ready to dive back into work.
Although the universe had other plans and eased me back into work slowly and gradually.
Now we are on the eve of February and things just feel like they are beginning.
I am grateful for the time to heal and restore and look forward to the podcast interviews I have lined up in February.
More opportunities to continue sharing my book with others and help more counselling clients navigate their grief and loss.
I am also looking forward to reaching more readers in the USA, UK, Africa, and Europe now my book is officially available on Amazon.com.
January has been the perfect reminder that "you can't help others unless you are wearing your own oxygen mask" as I tell my clients.
Blessings and light,
